Cowork can't access connected repo

“No add_repo tool is available in the Cowork session, so the repo can never be attached. git ls-remote also fails (no credentials).”

Growing. 10 reports and thumbs-up in the last 7 days and 6 the week before, down from 12 a week at the late-September peak. Not fixed, but a workaround is known.

Cowork sessions get 403 on repos that settings show as ready. Every repo request returns "Use add_repo to request access", but no add_repo tool exists in Cowork sessions.
