Upstream model version hidden
“The Gateway model id has no version, and the response and the generation record only show xai/grok-stt, so I can't tell which version we get.”

AI Gateway hides which upstream model version served a request. Unversioned model ids return only the alias in responses and generation records; versioned ids 404 or are ignored.
