Catalog image search returns nothing
“Text search via search_catalog works great, but image-based search (similar-by-image) consistently fails with a generic service error.”

Catalog image search with like parameter returns no results. Passing image content in search_catalog's like returns "Service error" or 0 results, while text and reference searches work.
