What's included

  • When working through longer Codex tasks, people cannot easily tell how much of their 5-hour and weekly allowance is left, when it resets, or whether they can use Codex right now, and want that state readable at a glance so they can plan work and avoid hitting a limit unexpectedly.
  • A persistent usage indicator in the desktop app header or sidebar instead of opening the profile or settings each time.
  • The weekly limit reset shown as a calendar date and local time, not only a rounded countdown.
  • The Usage screen when the weekly limit is exhausted while the 5-hour meter still shows allowance, including whether purchased credits are now being consumed.
