- Remote compact task fails with 'stream disconnected before completion' and retries or goal reactivation hit the same error
- Pre-turn compaction after switching models still calls the retired gpt-5.5 model and fails with an 'is not supported' / HTTP 400 error
- Automatic and manual /compact fail with 'ran out of room in the model's context window', also when the thread is resumed in the standalone CLI
- Fresh conversations work in the same environment while the affected long thread stays blocked
