  • Desktop app picker (Windows, Linux) omits newer GPT-6 / GPT-6.1 models that the same account sees on web, Work or VS Code
  • A model that was listed earlier disappears from the picker, while codex debug models --bundled still lists it or direct launch works
  • CLI /model menu omits GPT-6.1 Sol and explicit selection returns HTTP 400 'not supported when using Codex with a ChatGPT account'
  • Resolved model catalog differs from the bundled catalog; in some reports a stale local model_catalog_json override hid the new model

  • Selected model switching on its own after a usage limit
