What's included
- A synced or installed plugin server hides a working claude.ai connector or another plugin with the same URL, leaving only a server stuck in Needs authentication
- In VS Code, a plugin server is dropped at session start in favor of an unauthorized connector, or both copies are suppressed and no tools remain
- Log shows 'Lazy dedup: suppressing plugin server(s)' alongside 'Suppressing claude.ai connector', or 'disposing orphaned connect (slot removed mid-flight)'
- In the desktop Code tab, a connector and a local or plugin server with the same URL both load, so tools appear twice
- No setting to choose which copy or route is kept for a given service, and no desktop-only way to turn one copy off

- Local HTTP MCP servers that stop being retried after connection-refused and stay failed until a manual /mcp reconnect
- Project and local MCP servers removed mid-session in desktop sessions started from a pre-warmed spare
