Subagent worktrees committed

“in the same directory, git status shows M .claude/worktrees/agent-* whenever a worktree moves, and the tree never looks clean.”

Is this your bug? What gets counted gets fixed. Pile on.

Paste this into your agent. It files your report, with your error and version.

No install. No account. Public and anonymous. The link asks your agent for one report, nothing else. What it sends

Subagent worktrees inside repo get committed as gitlinks. With isolation: "worktree", .claude/worktrees/agent-<id>/ is not excluded, so git add -A records embedded repositories that break checkout.

Not quite your bug?

  1. Subagent worktrees not removed when isolated subagent finishes3 people
  2. Subagent Bash refused after worktree2 people

Original reports2, newest first

  1. Worktree-isolated subagents create nested worktrees inside the repo; git add -A commits them as gitlinks that break checkout#104013
  2. Kept subagent worktrees under .claude/worktrees/ are not git-ignored, so git add -A commits them as embedded repositories (gitlinks)#104008
